The museums are closed New Year's Day, Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

PARKING:
The parking lot is located directly behind the museum and may be accessed from the intersection of Forbes Avenue and South Craig Street. Cash and credit cards are accepted at pay stations, and credit cards only are accepted at the parking lot exit lanes.

2017 HOLIDAYS:
Because of heavy traffic and traffic restrictions on the North Side, Carnegie Science Center is typically closed on days when there are Steelers home games or other major events at Heinz Field. See holiday hours and closings.

PARKING:
$5 per vehicle. You can use the pay station to pay for parking at the beginning of your visit, as you are leaving, or any time in between.

PARKING:
Museum parking is located one block north of the museum on Sandusky Street ($8). Additional public parking is available behind the museum in the General Robinson Street parking garage (average $6, prices may vary during nearby stadium events).

DINING:
The Warhol Café is open during most museum hours and is accessible without museum admission, serving seasonal light meals–soups, salads, sandwiches, and homemade pastries. See menu.
