Volunteering
Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh is comprised of four individual museums: Carnegie Museum of Art, Carnegie Museum of Natural History, Carnegie Science Center and The Andy Warhol Museum. Volunteer opportunities for all ages from teens to seniors exist at all four museums and are always changing depending on the needs of the museums.
Volunteers work on-the-floor, behind the scenes, with the public, and with curators and educators. Volunteers do everything from interacting with children to conducting visitor surveys.
Limited unpaid internships are available in all four museums.
Once accepted, volunteers and interns are required to provide and pay for background checks and clearances before a security badge is issued.
