Educator & School Programs

We like to give credit where credit is due.
Check out our Act 48-accredited programming.

You spend hours preparing for your classes. Let us help you get credit for what you do in the creative environment of one of our museums. Earn Act 48 activity hours by attending a variety of lectures, classes, public programs, and in-service days featuring hands-on activities and ready-to-use lesson plans.

You’ll find fresh ways to strengthen cross-curriculum connections at the Museum of Art. And at The Warhol, you can tap your inner pop-artist while earning credit at teacher in-service sessions or the museum’s annual teacher open house.

Mix, mingle, and collaborate with other educators at Carnegie Museum of Natural History’s special events for educators.

At Carnegie Science Center, Teacher Open Houses will give you time to explore all of the exhibits, preview theater demonstrations and planetarium shows, AND give you four hours of Act 48 credit.
