What memberships are available?

Choose the membership that works for you! All members receive FREE admission to Carnegie Museums of Art and Natural History, Carnegie Science Center (including Highmark SportsWorks) and The Andy Warhol Museum.

  • Premium Level — Benefits for TWO adults and EIGHT guests plus a caregiver
  • Family Level — Benefits for TWO adults and FOUR children plus a caregiver
  • Dual Level — Benefits for TWO adults or ONE adult and ONE child
  • Individual Level — Benefits for ONE adult
  • Senior (65+) Level — Benefits for ONE senior adult

How long does a membership last?

Memberships last for one year. If you buy your membership in May, it will last through May 31 of the following year.

May I bring guests with my membership?

Premium Members may bring up to eight guests (children or adults) on each visit. Family Members with only one cardholder present may bring an adult guest for free, and may bring up to four children on each visit. Dual level members with only one cardholder present may also bring a guest for free.

What other science centers and museums can I visit with my membership?

  • All Members — Get in free at more than 300 ASTC reciprocal museums worldwide.
  • Dual Members and above — Enjoy free admission at more than 250 ROAM art museums, arboretums, and more
  • Premium Members — Receive admission to over 20 major art and natural history museums

Can I upgrade my membership to a higher level?

Yes! Just call the Membership Team at 412.622.3314 or visit the admissions desk at any of our museums.

Can the cost of museum admission be applied toward a membership?

Yes, the cost of your admission on the same day can be counted toward a membership purchase. A membership representative at the admissions desk will be happy to help you.

How will I find out about special events?

Special event invitations are sent via email and/or announced in CARNEGIE magazine.

When are the museums open? How much is admission for non-members?

Is my membership tax deductible?

Yes, a portion of your membership is tax deductible. The value of goods and services for the Family, Dual, Individual, and Senior levels is $15 for a subscription to CARNEGIE magazine. The remainder of your membership is tax deductible. The value of goods and services for the Premium level is $50, which includes a subscription to CARNEGIE magazine and the value of Omnimax coupons. The remainder of this membership is tax deductible.
