VIVA (USA, 2007), written and directed by Anna Biller, makes its Pittsburgh premier at The Warhol. A reworking of 1960s and 70s sexploitation films, VIVA follows the sexual evolution of a vivacious suburban housewife Barbi, played by Biller herself. Anna Biller, known for her use of humor and visual overindulgence to discuss female gender roles, has completed several short films and stage musicals, for which she has created custom-designed sets and costumes.
